A small treasure that is easily accessible for most mobility styles. There trail is a flat quarter mile, but there are no benches on the way.The nutrient-poor serpentine soils create bogs that foster the carnivorous California pitcher plant. Easy viewing of many different local plants.Use caution when entering and exiting the wayside as the traffic can be fierce here. Parking lot is not suitable for large vehicles or trailers.  Bathrooms are available at the rest stop 1/4 mile north east.
