The Community of Ravenna park

Ravenna Park is located near the University of Washington located in the community of Ravenna. I will be focusing on the environmental history of Raven Park testing its resilience and the community’s willingness to advocate in favor of park preservation. As I give a voice to the historical narrative of community advocacy that creates a sense of admiration for Ravenna Park to then drive government accountability and policy reform for hundreds of years to preserve the park, I hope to inspire people to protect their local parks and preserve the piece of my community called Ravenna Park.
