Brown's Creek State Trail flows for almost 6 miles from Grant to Stillwater, MN, emptying into the St. Croix River. It is visited by nearly 75,000 people each year, and it is home to a diverse ecosystem, including the Brown trout–an uncommon species in the metro area of Minnesota. Many conservation efforts are in place to keep the water quality in check for the trout, allowing them to reproduce and thrive.
