The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum has been a part of the University of Minnesota's lands since 1958. Located in Chaska, Minnesota, it is home to 28 speciality gardens and 44 plant collections which include breathtaking prairies, rose gardens, and various restoration and research sites. One of these restoration sites is the Spring Peeper Meadow, located in the prairie area of the Arb, and is home to a vast collection of plants and animals. The meadow's trail comes to an end in a wetland that went through a restoration process beginning in 1995, and has flourished throughout the decades until today. During this tour, you will learn more about the Arb's history, and it's various efforts in aiding the restoration of the natural landscape and environmental education of the public.
