It encompasses cultural sites in the heart of Wascana Centre, and was created in partnership with the Provincial Capital Commission.The Wascana Cultural Trailway is located in Treaty 4 Territory, territory of the nêhiyawak, anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda peoples, and traditional homeland of the Michif/Métis Nation. The original inhabitants used this area as a place to dry buffalo meat and clean and dry the hides. Together, let us honour and respect the Treaty that binds all people who visit the trailway.The tour is free of charge.
