Juliet's journey - Ecomuseum of the 5 Senses of Sciacca

Juliet’s path is one of the most suggestive, the between-history and legend tale of a youngwoman (Sicilian Juliet?), who comes to Sciacca for love’s sake, then she inherited the cityfor, being the daughter of Count Roger of Hauteville.Thanks to her three splendid churches were edificated: “S.Nicolò la Latina”, “Chiesa delleGiummare”, and “Chiesa Madre” (Mother Church).The path begins from the “Rocca della Regina” (commercial port) and continues in thecentre with the visit of the three churches and “Cortile Chiodi”, rare vestige of the old castlebuilt by Count Roger. Translated by Francesco Ferrara
