Monasteries of the Yaroslavl region

Here is an audio guide to the monasteries of the Yaroslavl region. At the moment, a description of three monasteries has been prepared. These are the Nikolo-Solbinsky, Borisoglebsky, Trinity-Sergius Varnitsky monasteries.Each of these monasteries is unique in its own way and each is worth visiting.The Nikolo-Solbinsky Convent has been reborn from the ruins. It is located among the endless forests of Yaroslavl region. This center of spiritual life has all the necessary infrastructure for the emergence of a modern settlement around it.The Borisoglebsky Monastery is an ancient monastery. It is a witness to the formation of the Russian state. Surprisingly, but during the hard times of the XX century, not a single temple was destroyed inside the monastery.The Trinity-Sergius Varnitsky Monastery, an abode founded at the birthplace of the saint, is an exceptional phenomenon. This is the only case in the Russian Church. This monastery was erected in the homeland of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
