Pléneuf-Val-André is a small seaside resort located in Côtes d'Armor, in the bay of Saint-Brieuc. The town is made up of 3 large main districts: Dahouet (the port), Pléneuf (the town) and Le Val-André (the heart of the resort). The seaside resort is the result of the investment of two men, Admiral Charner, who purchased the first land in 1853, and Charles Cotard, to whom the creation of Val-André is attributed by purchasing a large part of the land in 1880.
