Lamballe is a town located in Brittany on the RN 12, between Rennes 80 kilometers away and Saint-Brieuc 20 kilometers away, on the banks of the Gouessant. The population is 17,000 inhabitants. Lamballe was originally the capital of the Duchy of Penthièvre in Brittany.
